The Hangout Zone is a “Kids Only” destination where fun meets creativity. Kids play, create, and socialize through gaming, podcasting, DJing, video production, board games, and other interactive experiences that inspire creativity, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression—all in a safe, supervised environment. It’s more than a place to play—it’s a place to create, socialize, and discover new interests.

Kids don’t just play—they create. At The Hangout Zone, kids rotate through our most popular experiences, including the Podcast Studio, DJ Studio, Gaming Lounge, and board games, plus green screen, karaoke, and other creative activities. Each experience lasts about 30–45 minutes, giving every child the chance to play, create content, work with friends, and discover new interests while our team leaders keep the experience fun and engaging.

The Hangout Zone offers a variety of hands-on activities that encourage kids to create, play, and socialize. Experiences include podcasting, DJing, gaming, green screen video production, board games, karaoke, music, and fun group challenges. Every activity is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and make every visit exciting and engaging.

Yes! The Hangout Zone offers birthday parties, group rentals, and private events. Our team handles the setup, activities, and flow of the experience so hosts can relax and enjoy the celebration. We also offer private family events where parents and kids can create, play, and have fun together in an exclusive setting.

The Hangout Zone is designed primarily for kids ages 7–14, but we also offer special events and Teen Nights for older participants. When booking, please include each child’s age so we can create the best possible experience and ensure activities are age-appropriate. 

Reservations are recommended for all visits, especially during our initial launch, to help us manage capacity and provide the best possible experience. Please check our calendar or app for available sessions and book in advance.

Membership is optional. We offer flexible 2-, 3-, and 4-hour sessions, monthly memberships for frequent visitors, and Creator Passes—prepaid hours that can be shared among family members or friends. Visit our website or call 770-821-ZONE (9663) for current pricing and package options.

Activities are designed to be fun and age appropriate. Whether it’s editing a green screen video or competing in a game challenge, kids are guided through each experience. There’s something for every skill level.

Parents or guardians are required to present a valid ID at check-in for safety and pickup verification. Kids do not need an ID to participate; however, a photo will be taken during their initial check-in, and each child will receive a wristband linked to their profile. This bracelet provides secure access and must be scanned at check-in and at check-out.

Yes. All activities at The Hangout Zone are supervised by trained staff. For added security, the facility features controlled entry and exit, along with camera monitoring throughout the center.

 No. The Hangout Zone isn’t just one room. It features a variety of activity spaces—including podcast, gaming, and karaoke rooms—along with open areas where kids can play, create, and socialize. Kids rotate between experiences throughout their visit while our team members supervise the fun. Before leaving your precious gem, please ask a team member for a quick supervised walk-through.

For your initial visit, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for check-in and registration. For future visits, please arrive about 10 minutes early for a smooth check-in. Please plan to pick up your child promptly when their session ends, as late pickup fees may apply.

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled reservation. Your deposit will be credited toward a future reservation and must be used within six (6) months of the original reservation date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reservation are not eligible for a credit.

No. We provide everything kids need to enjoy The Hangout Zone, including podcasting and DJ equipment, gaming systems, microphones, green screen technology, board games, and other creative tools. Personal devices should be left at home so kids can fully participate in the experience. If a child needs to contact a parent, a phone is always available, and parents are welcome to call the center at any time to speak with a team member.

We provide cubbies for jackets, bags, and small personal items. Kids are welcome to bring a phone, but phones must remain put away while on the Hangout floor. Phone calls, texting, FaceTime, photos, videos, and social media use are not permitted during activities.

If a child needs to contact a parent or guardian, they may step away from the activity area with staff permission to use their phone. Parents may also call the center to reach their child through a THZ team member.

The Hangout Zone is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced phones, devices, bags, or other personal belongings. We encourage families to bring only what is needed for the visit.

We get it—things happen! If you’re running late, please call us at 770-821-ZONE (9663) as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help. Sessions are scheduled in advance, and additional time may be available for a fee, subject to availability. Please note that the maximum time per child is four hours.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for items brought in connection with a reserved party. The Hangout Zone offers a selection of small snacks and beverages available for purchase.
